<p>就像作家写书、音乐家作曲一样，其实程序员也可以创建有版权的数字内容，并通过售卖它来获得更好的收益。</p>
|
|
<p>虽然我们之前聊过基于版权的市场在国内基本可以忽略，但是在全球范围以内，在英文市场里，还是有很大的交易额的。</p>
|
|
<p>比如 Envato 旗下的模板交易市场 <a href="https://themeforest.net" target="_blank">themeforest.net</a> 和 代码插件交易市场 <a href="https://codecanyon.net" target="_blank">codecanyon.net</a> 。</p>
|
|
<p>我们重点来说说 themeforest 吧。</p>
|
|

<p>这个市场上有 47,000 多套 WordPress 和 HTML 的模板，最低的价格是两美金一套。</p>
|
|
<p>在国内，就算你做了一套好模板，其实也很难卖出去。即使有很少的用户购买，也会很快被分享出去，以盗版的方式到处传播。</p>
|
|
<p>在英文市场用户的付费意识会比较强，会更愿意在付费市场里面去买一些价格合适、在版权上又没有版权隐患的模板或者插件。首先因为这对他们来说不贵，然后用盗版的话，受到的惩罚会贵很多。</p>
|
|
<p>我用 themeforest 主要是买模板，最开始我以为这个市场不大，直到有一天我无意间看到畅销榜的一个模板销量。</p>
|
|
<p>这个模板本身做的很不错，内建了一套 page builder 系统，定价为 60 美金一套。</p>
|
|

<p>从2012年8月16号开始卖，然后截止到现在总共卖了58万5840套。</p>
|
|
<p>看到以后吓得我立马掏出计算器算了下，这是 3515万美金，<strong>大概2个多亿人民币</strong>。这只是这家公司的一套模板，他们还有其他的模板。</p>
|
|
<p>所以啊，国内大家老是觉得什么 PHP 不行了不能用了，但是事实上<strong>全球排名前1000万的网站里边，有三分之一是 WordPress 在支撑</strong>，这依然是一个非常非常庞大的市场。</p>
|
|
<p>做模板和插件另一个比较好意思的地方是，它们通常是开发的副产品，比如我们做外包做的模板系统、给自己博客写的插件。现在试试把它拿出来商品化而已。这样投入就会小很多。</p>
